The importance of using clean water and toilets and other measures have been emphasized to ensure that women do not become dependent on water alone. Efforts need to be made to increase the presence of women in the media sector, whether it is print, electronic or social media. Their presence in sports has been strengthened, it will be further increased. Emphasis on social security of women, especially those women who are backward, migrants or single women. It will be strengthened by creating life insurance, pension, travel concessions, subsidies, working hostels, shelters etc. There is emphasis on expanding better transport facilities for women so that movement can be made easier. To implement all these, the action plan at the central and state level is divided into 3 areas: one year, 1-5 years and more than 5 years. For this, focus will be on identifying areas for work, discussion of results, responsible organization, identification of resources, etc. All this work will be done with the help of an inter-ministerial committee, headed by the Women and Child Development Minister. Similarly, this work will be done at the state level, headed by the Chief Minister. Their sub-committees will be formed according to the area. The Ministry of Women and Child Development will act as the nodal agency. Women related institutions will be further strengthened. National Women Commission and State Women Commission will be reviewed from time to time. The administrative structure in the ministry, administration and private sectors will be re-examined. Implementation of provisions for women will be ensured through civil society and other support groups. With the help of mindset change program for women through training, awareness and campaigns, efforts will be made to distance social institutions like family or community from concepts like patriarchy. Efforts will also be made to strengthen women's organizations. Overall, this policy is different in many ways from the policy that came 15 years ago. Making policy is a relatively easy task. Policies were made earlier also, but due to their lack of proper implementation, it cannot be said that the condition of women in India has become much better. This policy raises great hopes for the future of India and the better condition of women in it. There is only a need if these policies are implemented and reach from the higher administrative structure to the women standing far away in the lower level practical world, only then perhaps we can move towards a developed India. This policy will prove to be a better step.
